Frontline Perth staff to feature on latest season of Paramedics on Scene

Frontline Perth staff to feature on latest season of Paramedics on Scene: Perth

Frontline Perth staff members from the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) will appear on a new series of Paramedics on Scene, which airs on Tuesday.

Keara Bacon, Paramedic and Ashleigh Smith, Technician, will feature alongside SAS’s West SORT (Special Operations Response Team) and Livingston frontline staff.

Keara and Ashleigh said: “Being filmed for the documentary was an incredibly exciting and memorable experience. It’s not often that people get to see what we do beyond the flashing lights and sirens, so having the cameras follow us on real callouts was a great opportunity to show the reality of the job. At the end of the day, we’re just ordinary people doing our best to help others — often showing up in someone’s darkest hour, trying to bring calm, care, and a sometimes a bit of humour.”"

Season Six of Paramedics on Scene is on BBC Scotland at 9pm on Tuesday and repeated at 10pm on Thursday. It is also available on BBC iPlayer.
