UPDATE: Press call - Restart A Heart Live – Virtual CPR Training Event
The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS), Save a Life for Scotland (SALFS), and Save a Life Cymru (SALC) are calling for members of the public to learn CPR.
After achieving a Guinness World Record in it’s first year, Restart a Heart Live is back for the second year running with a new aim – to train one million people in CPR by 2027.
Members of the public are encouraged to join one of the sessions, which are running on the hour from 9am to 8pm.
In addition to CPR training, each session will provide education on how to use a defibrillator and what to expect when you dial 999.
Restart a Heart Live was devised by Lee Myers, SAS Paramedic Clinical Team Leader, who has trained hundreds of primary and secondary students across the Scottish Borders in CPR skills and defibrillator awareness over his career so far.
